About this deal

Lust for Life is not just an album; it is a testament to Lana Del Rey's ability to create music that touches the soul and stirs the heart.

A global success, it topped the charts in twelve countries including the UK and USA, while reaching the top five in fifteen others. From the dreamy and melancholic "Love" to the hauntingly beautiful "13 Beaches," Lust for Life captures the essence of Lana Del Rey's signature style and emotional depth. In My Feelings: Published by R-Rated Music administered by EMI April Music Inc (Global Music Rights) / Sony/ATV Music Publishing (ASCAP). In short, Lana is back big time with an album that is a perfect blend of light and dark, her vocals are outstanding as always, collabs add a new dimension and the attention to detail on the record is amazing so get your headphones on/turn your car volume right up to fully appreciate it. Compared to her previous albums, especially its somnolent 2015 predecessor, Honeymoon, Lust for Life is positively ebullient in tone, if not in tempo.

Language - Regardless of country of origin all tracks are sung in English, unless otherwise stated in our description. The album and its title were announced on March 29, 2017, through a trailer on Del Rey's official Vevo channel on YouTube. personally i think this is a beautiful album that i will listen to over and over, my one criticism is that there are too many collaborations, i love the Lana/ Stevie Nicks track two of my all time favourite artists, Hell I love the whole thing even if others do interrupt from time to time, and i could not in all honesty give this less than five stars. This fourth studio album from Lana Del Rey has her trademark languid, world-weary, wounded poetic purr, but this album also has contributions from guest artists including the ever green Stevie Nicks that add an interlude to Lana’s usual landscape of smooth hypnotic ultra-glide, laconic tempos, and shimmering, lush sweeping arrangements.Lana Del Rey cites a wide range of musical artists as influences, including numerous pop, jazz, and blues performers from Andrew Lloyd Webber to Frank Sinatra, Nina Simone, Billie Holiday, Bobby Vinton, and Miles Davis. This is an album about faded Hollywood glamour, and while it has a retro edge, it's about America today in 2017 where Lana worries about the state of the country and the future, but we still have her girl meets bad-boy, bad-boy fails to turn up when he said he would, and love goes all terribly wrong etc.
