About this deal

To my nose I get Patchouli, grassy, chocolate, woods, Musk, there’s a dry spice like coriander or cumin. Dry down becomes an enveloping warm bubble, like the heat coming off of a field of long grass on a summer's day. With fresh, sparkling top notes of coriander grains, kumquat, and rosewood with a heart of cyclamen, cinnamon leaves and clary sage. This has a touch of a master hand and in a really odd way reminds me of Terre de hermes eau tres friahce. i would say it has a nice unique Kumquat opening with lil herbal touch, and the dry down is a mix of le male and tommy bahamma set sail st.

The advantage of this fragrance, in addition to its refreshing aromaticity, is that the perfume itself has a nice forward development and is by no means a linear citrus scent! Its not even funny the scent is ok nothing special to brag about a blast of alcohol then u barely get the scent a little citrus a little sweet something an old woman in her 70s wearing super red lipstick and beige high heel pumps would wear! I love Moschino as a brand and I love the commercial and marketing for Moschino Uomo, so I really wanted to love the scent, but unfortunately I don't. Sniffing it on the back of my hand an hour after a generous application, I no longer recognise the attraction. And it lasts all day - he sprays it under his arms on his t-shirt (his skin gets irritated by alcohol based fragrances, so he always sprays on clothes).

I feel that this one smells slightly similar to Tom Ford For Men, but at least that fragrance lasts a lot longer than this one! you need 5 sprays for a full days work, got a lil mature vibe to it, the citrus is kinda old school, but man it smells nice, not date at all. It opens up with like semi sweet fresh citrusy , slightly spicy and floral notes in the background then dry down is musky woody.

Finally, its wake ends with a woody sparkle, interspersed with amber, wormwood and musk, which endows it with sensuality and depth. Some people said that I smelled like fresh ground coffee (but not an actual infused coffee, it's very different). They simply know how to handle fragrances and create good citrus based profiles and many times they hit the nail on the head with them! It shines in the soft morning springs and falls, but with a few nuts and bolts you can pull this off any time of year.

Don't get me wrong, it's really decent, but I'm pretty sure the older version of it, before any reformulations, would be much better. This is like YSL Homme's Italian cousin - they have a lot in common, but the Uomo has more citrus and aromatics. Protect your fragrance from direct sunlight and heat, otherwise it could alter the composition of the fragrance and escape.

Wait a bit longer and you have your dry down: the kumquat stays dominant, a distinct musk aroma, some flowery traces for the fanciness (not feminine like some people said), a tiny bit of cinnamon for the kick and to wrap this up, a faint woody background, and it's that background that makes it definitely for men, not unisex at all. To say that this is comparable to JPG is a head scratcher for sure, it makes me wonder if they or myself got a fake bottle, but to be sure I checked my batch code and mine is in fact legit. fragrance for men was launched as early as 1998 and has since become an essential for men all over the world.
